Here we will look at the odds for the bets that can be placed in a game of European roulette. You should consider that playing this kind of roulette makes your odds go up if compared to an American roulette table. This happens because European tables only have one zero spot, while American tables have two. There are ten bets that can be placed in European roulette:
- Straight bet – A bet on a single number, it has odds of 36:1 and a payout of 35-1.

- Red or black bet – an even money bet this has odds of 1.01:1 and a payout of 1-1.
- Odd or even bet – an even money bet this has odds of 1.01:1 and a payout of 1-1.
- High or low bet – an even money bet this has odds of 1.01:1 and a payout of 1-1.
- Column bet – a bet on twelve numbers, it has odds of 2.08:1 and a payout of 2-1.
- Dozen bet – a bet on twelve numbers, it has odds of 2.08:1 and a payout of 2-1.
