Due-Column Betting System
Due-column betting is a fixed-profit system, in which the player increases their wager amount on a single proposition following each successive loss. Using this system, the player sets a target profit amount before betting commences; the player than increases the bet on propositions after a loss, so that they will get back the sum of all wagers lost from preceding bets, as well as the predetermined profit amount on top.
This may appear to bear similarities to the Martingale and Cancellation systems, but is different due to its accounting for the varying odds in successive propositions. Many players refer to this system interchangeably with the 'progressive system' phrase, which covers multiple betting systems commonly found at casino gaming tables.

Due-column betting is thought of as a fixed-profit system due to the player's pre-bet determination of their target profit, yet, as with systems based on percentages, the player lays down the amount needed to their intended profit, plus the overall amount needed to get back all previous losses.
